Quiz Attempt Data: If you are logged in, we record the timestamp of your quiz attempts associated with your email address to manage daily usage limits.
Session Information: We use session cookies (small files stored by your browser or app) to keep you logged in and manage your quiz state while you are actively using the Service. These are essential for the App's functionality.
Log Data: Like most web services, our servers (hosted on Google Cloud Platform / App Engine) automatically collect log information when you access the Service. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, pages viewed, and referring web page addresses.
2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (e.g., allow login, run quizzes).

Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate our App:
Google Sign-In: To handle user authentication. Your interaction with Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Cloud Platform / App Engine: To host our application, database, and servers. Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.   
4. Data Storage and Security

Your information (such as quiz attempt history linked to your email) is stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted on Google Cloud Platform (servers likely located in the us-central1 region). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. We use HTTPS (secure connections) for data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Session data is stored temporarily while you use the App.   

5. Data Retention

We retain your Google Account information as long as you maintain an account with us or as needed to provide you services. We retain quiz attempt history linked to logged-in users for purposes of enforcing limits and potential usage analysis [Consider specifying a retention period or stating it's kept until deletion is requested]. Feedback data may be retained to improve questions. Log data is typically retained for a limited period for analysis and security purposes. You can request the deletion of your account-related data by contacting us.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
